Jackie Goldston graduated from Chapman University, one of the country's finest film schools, with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Media Performance. While at Chapman, she also studied Shakespearean acting with Tom Bradac, artistic director of Southern California's Shakespeare Orange County; additionally, she held an acting and crew position on the university's first experimental SAG pilot which starred Mr. Ed Asner.
Jackie has performed many theatrical roles, including the Evil Queen from Snow White (Disneyland, CA) and the Wicked Witch of the West from the Wizard of Oz-she hopes not to be typecast. As former drama director at Creekside Church and teacher at Horizon Christian Academy, she has written, directed, and performed several monologues, skits and full-length plays & musicals. She has commercial and industrial film credits nationwide as well as theatrical credits from California to England.
In 2000, with the profit from her first national commercial, Jackie founded Cumming Attractions Theatre Company (CATCo Productions), a non-profit community theatre company that produced comedies, dramas, musicals, as well as original works through a program called the New Playwright's Initiative. She also birthed a Murder Mystery Troupe that produced original mysteries as well as an Old Time Radio Theatre Troupe that encouraged writers of all ages. Both troupes performed for children and adults at various venues around the Metro Atlanta, Georgia area, as well as on the airwaves of WDUN.
Jackie can currently be found as a regular cast-member of North Point Community Church's monthly KidStuf Live! Show. She also works as a photographer who specializes in headshots for actors. Jackie hosts an annual headshot marathon as a gift to her fellow actors and actresses. She and her hubby have two precious daughters. They volunteer and occasionally have the honor to work on the production team for North Point Ministries.
She is honored to be a part of the ever-changing, ever amazing entertainment community.
